Valerie Tanner Voices

Private Students of Valerie Tanner Voices are expected to follow the guidelines listed below. Failure to follow the guidelines of the studio will result in being dismissed from the studio.

Tuition Payments

*Tuition for the entire month must be current at the time of the last lesson of the month. (A $15.00 late fee will be added to your monthly statement if special arrangements have not been made in advance.)

*Checks are to be made payable to: VALERIE TANNER.

*30 minute voice lesson = $15.00, 45 minute voice lesson = $25.00, 1 hour voice lesson = $30.00

*30 minute piano less = $10.00

*Students are charged for lessons regardless of their attendance.

*Students are NOT charged for lessons cancelled by the Instructor.

 

Attendance

*My Teaching Schedule is as follows:

Monday and Thursday

Flexible schedule

 

*A master phone list/schedule will be provided to each student. You may "swap" lessons with other students if a conflict arises.

*You are responsible for contacting the Instructor prior to any cancellation.

 

Holidays & Snow Days

*A master calendar of September - December will be given to each student at the first lesson.

*Snow Days will be determined by the Instructor NOT the local school officials.

 

Competitions

*OMEA Solo & Ensemble competition: All students in grades 7 - 12. Students must be enrolled in a school choir in order to participate. (Accompanist fee of $25.00 is required of each soloist.)

*NATS Auditions: Advanced students in grades 10 - 12, anticipating a career in music. (Entry and Accompanist fees will be required of each soloist.)

 

 

* Other competitions will be offered to any and all students that meet competition requirements.
